Financial assistance to students shall be made available through various measures. The National Scholarship Portal is expanded to support, foster and track the progress of students receiving the Scholarship. Private Institutions like Annai Hajira Women’s College offers Institutional Scholarships to the meritorious and financially weak students.
NEP 2020 identified the following as the SEDGs: Gender Identities: Female and Transgender individuals. Socio-Cultural identities: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs, and Minorities. Geographical Identities: Students from villages, small towns, and inspirational districts.
All Scholarships and other opportunities and schemes available to the students from SEDGs are coordinated and announced by a single-entry agency and website to ensure that all students are aware of, and may apply in a simplified manner on such a ‘single window system’ as per eligibility.

1.Central Government Scholarship

Post Matric Minority Scholarship: This scholarship is offered by the Central Government to students belonging to minority communities like Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Christians etc. Scholarship is offered based on the income of the parents. Announcements are made by the Government through an advertisement in the newspaper.Students can apply online through the National Scholarship portal (NSP).

3.Management Scholarship

Management scholarship is a merit cum means scholarship and it is sanctioned based on the recommendations of the department, Principal and at the discretion of the Management.

5. Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme

The Government of Tamil Nadu has launched this scholarship to enhance the enrolment ratio of girls from Government Schools to HEI. Through this scheme, the financial assistance of Rs.1,000/-month is provided to the girls till their completion of UG/Diploma/IT/any other recognized Course. The incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into student’s Bank account.
