Anti-Ragging cell has been constituted in the college as per the mandates of UGC to prevent ragging
in
any form, on and off the campus. We are dedicated to establishing a college campus that fosters a safe,
respectful and inclusive environment for the students. As part of this commitment, the Committee is
highly
devoted to prevent and address the instances of ragging within the campus premises.

Objectives :
We Strive to
- Create awareness about the harmful consequences of ragging and its impact on
victims. Our
committee organizes workshops, seminars and orientation sessions to educate students about our
anti-ragging policy and guidelines.
- Provide a safe and confidential platform for reporting ragging incidents.
- The committee is responsible for conducting thorough and impartial
investigations into reported
incidents.
- Address the root causes of such behavior through counseling and awareness
programs, guiding
students towards positive behavioral change.
- Implement appropriate disciplinary actions for those found guilty of
ragging. These actions are
designed to deter future incidents and uphold the principles of fairness and justice.
Together, we work diligently to uphold these objectives, cultivating an atmosphere of respect,
empathy
and safety for every member of our college community

Punishments as per UGC norms :
Any student or group of students found guilty of ragging on campus or off campus shall be liable to one
or
more of the following punishments:
- Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges.
- Debarring from appearing in any sessional test / university examination or
withholding results.
- Debarring from representing the institution in any national or international
meet, tournament,
youth festival, etc.
- Withdrawing scholarships and other benefits.
- Suspension/expulsion from the hostel.
- Fine up to twenty five thousand rupees
- Imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which may
extend to ten
thousand rupees or with both
- Cancellation of admission.
- Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to
any other institution
