BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS (BIS)
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the National Standard Body of India which is responsible for the harmonious development of the activities of standardization,marking and quality certification of goods and for matters connected therewith or incidental there to. It is an agency of the Indian government established in 1987 todevise uniform standards of quality for broad categories of manufactured and agricultural goods, to perform product testing and to license the use of an official mark to indicate that a product has been certified as conforming to BIS standards.
OBJECTIVE
BIS is providing learning opportunities to young talents in the field of quality and standardization through mutually beneficial collaboration in the form of standards club in Educational Institutes so that these students can be the future pioneers of quality.
Our college is one among the member institutions of Bureau of Indian Standards
(BIS), organized from the academic year 2022-2023.
VISION
- Standards Club offers a coherent vision to be scientifically literate, regardless of background or circumstance of students.

- Standards club aims at simplifying the process of science learning
- Mentors will help students to understand how ensuring quality in daily life can be related to science & technology
MISSION
- Children are the future and they form the foundation on which a strong, vibrant and dynamic nation is built
- Educating students to appreciate the significance of quality, standards and standardization can serve as a catalyst to improve societal awareness on these subjects
- Mentors will play an important role by motivating them to channelize their creativity by enhancing their scientific temperament
